June 24: Special Guest Star DREW SEELEY (“Glory Daze”).
Celebrity Improv Mashup Online TV Show
Celebrity Guest Stars join ACME’s talented improvisers in a hilarious show that takes a Hollywood Movie and a second outrageous story and mashes them together in ways you never imagined! It’s side splitting funny, it’s three shows in one, it’s CELEBRITY IMPROV MASHUP! Directed by Joseph Limbaugh.
Part 1: Unscripted Hollywood Dream Role! What happens when a celebrity lands the role of a lifetime, but there’s no script, so the actors have to make it up as they go? Is it a Dream Role, or a Nightmare? Celebrity guest stars join ACME’s top improvisers to create a film-like story, based on the guest star’s choice of a “dream role” they’d love to play. Action, film noir, romantic comedy, horror – anything! What follows is an unscripted tale with shining moments and scenes that go delightfully wrong… in Unscripted Hollywood Dream Role!
Part 2: Funny Story! Watch as our improvisors take an idea, which could be based on almost anything – an outragous soap opera, a classic novel, a parody of an old TV show, or something from today’s headlines… and weave it into a wacky tale that can only take place in Funny Story!
Part 3: Mashup! The story lines and characters from Hollywood Dream Role and Funny Story are forced to reckon with each other as they meet in unexpected ways… it’s a mashup of scenes and situations from the first two parts of the show, and you never know what will happen!
If you live in the Los Angeles area or are visiting Hollywood, be part of the studio audience and see the CIM show in person (get studio audience tickets here on LaughStub). Or tune in at www.celebrityimprovmashup.com and catch the show live online at 9 PM Pacific, 12 AM Eastern.

Starry Mag recently interviewed Drew on his new show, Glory Daze. Drew talks about the show, his role as Jason, the cast, and social networks.
Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?
A) I’m doing “Glory Daze.” We did ten episodes and the second one just aired. The other big thing on my plate is my album. I’m finally putting it out and I’ve been working on it for a long time. The first four songs came out two weeks ago and I am going to release the second and third EP very soon. I’m going to shoot a couple music videos and go on tour. I’m going to do as much as I can before, hopefully, “Glory Daze” gets called back for a second season.
Q) Please tell us about your character Jason Wilson on “Glory Daze.”
A) He is a prepster and he’s a master of the sweater vest. He wants to be Ronald Reagan when he grows up. He’s the only one of the guys that has a girlfriend, which is pretty funny. I always manage to do something stupid and make her run away in almost every episode, but I somehow manage to win her back. It’s a lot of fun to play because the character is so opposite of me in real life. He’s so uppity and over concerned with every detail of his image and his appearance. He has fun with the guys and gets to finally relax a little bit and enjoy college.
Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?
A) In all honesty, they wanted me! As an actor, you audition for a lot of different stuff and you hope to get a cool job. “Glory Daze” is the coolest job I could have gotten. I got an audition and they liked what I did. It just worked out!
Q) Did you do any preparation for the role?
A) I didn’t want to watch a whole ton of 80′s movies because I didn’t want to end up copying them or basing my character off of one that already existed. I read a lot of comments and blogs and a lot of people think that is what we’re doing anyway. I think the writing is really funny and really good. It sort of does the work for you, as an actor, because your intentions are really clear. A lot of times scripts are more ambiguous, but we always have a mission or something we’re doing and I always fill the slot of the one guy that thinks he has more common sense than the others. He’ll try to talk them out of it, but ends up getting roped into it.
Q) What have you found challenging about your role?
A) It wasn’t a challenging job. It’s a super fun job! It does feel like we’re in college and in a fraternity with all the crazy stuff that goes on at set. It’s really just show up, know your lines and have a blast. That’s what I did.
With the premiere of Glory Daze being tonight, there are many articles & interviews poping up online. I’ll be editing this post often with new links to some of the better articles & interviews below.
Check out this great new interview with Drew for Breakout Magazine, Drew talks about his new album “The RESOLUTION” and his upcoming soon to be hit TV show Glory Daze.
You have a new CD out right now called “The Resolution, tell me why you felt the need to do this right now?
I had the need to do this since I started singing years ago, but I never had the means and I wasn’t really ready. I’ve done a lot of songs on soundtracks but I’ve been writing constantly for the last couple of years and I finally have a group of songs that I felt told a story which is important to me as an actor, I didn’t want to just put together a couple of club bangers and throw it out there in the world like hey! I made an album. I wanted my first album to be a story.
And the story you wanted to tell, was it autobiographical?
It’s semi-autobiographical, I play a character, there’s two girls that I’m involved with at different points of the album and it kinda weaves through the good times and the bad times, you know, the things they do to me that ruin my world and then my mistakes and then trying to find a resolution.
So it’s a story, but it’s not actually a true story? So you weren’t juggling two women at the same time?
No, it’s not a true story and if it was, I would never write a whole album about it.
Check out this awesome new video from TBS featuring the cast of Glory Daze shooting their promotional stills! We have the HQ images, and will post in our gallery soon.
